Role Summary:

• Design and develop a software solution that runs on DCIM-14 OSS and supports

seamless data synchronization between two databases.

• Implement real-time bidirectional database replication using Change Data

Capture (CDC), event-driven architecture, or message queues (Kafka,

RabbitMQ).

• Ensure HIPAA, DICOM, and other healthcare data security compliance for

MRI data handling.

• Develop custom APIs or middleware to facilitate communication between the

system and DCIM-14 OSS.

• Optimize database performance, consistency, and reliability to prevent data

conflicts or lag.

• Work closely with stakeholders to define data models, schema structures, and

access policies.

• Troubleshoot issues related to database synchronization, data conflicts, and

software performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in database

synchronization and medical data handling.

• Strong proficiency in relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL

(MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.

• Experience with DCIM-14 OSS or similar medical imaging platforms.

• Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC), database triggers, event-driven

architecture.

• Familiarity with secure data transfer, encryption, and healthcare

compliance (HIPAA, DICOM, HL7).

• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or

Node.js.

• Experience working with cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for data

synchronization.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Prior experience in healthcare IT, PACS, or medical imaging software.
