Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Subject Matter Expert (SME) with over 13 years of progressive experience in DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud operations. The ideal candidate must possess strong expertise in Python or Microsoft Azure, and demonstrate deep knowledge of DevOps tools, methodologies, and cloud-native services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a DevOps SME, providing technical leadership, best practices, and architectural guidance for DevOps processes and automation.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure services, with a strong focus on Azure cloud operations.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure reliable application delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational best practices in cloud and DevOps workflows.

Mandatory Skills:

• Python (scripting and automation) or Azure Cloud (administration, services, and automation)
• CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM Templates, Ansible)
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud operations and monitoring tools
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments
• Familiarity with log management and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Python certification) preferred
