JOB DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES

•Participate in requirements analysis

•Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture

•Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages

•Test and deploy applications and systems

•Revise, update, refactor and debug code

•Improve existing software

•Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

•Analyze technical requirements and design new components to meet functional, performance and availability requirements.

•Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.

•Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.

•Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.

•Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.

•Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.

•Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications.

•Play role of scrum master as well

Required Skills

At least 8 years’ experience in development:

1. 8+ years’ experience working on Microsoft Technologies
2. Familiarity with the ASP.NET Core framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns
3. Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#/ASP) and HTML5/CSS3
4. Knowledge with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
5. Understanding of Agile methodologies
6. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
7. Working knowledge of Angular/Vue/ReactJs or any full stack JavaScript framework
8. A passion of solving problems and providing workable solutions
9. Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
10. Experience in PHP and developing both frontend and backend creating SaaS web-based applications will be an added advantage
11. Experience in VueJS, jQuery/JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3, MySQL database.
12. Knowledge of working on Linux.
13. Experience with Python will be an added advantage.
14. Able to create complex modules from scratch and independently.
15. Superb problem-solving capabilities.
16. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
17. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
18. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
19. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
20. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
21. Help maintain code quality and high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices.
22. Hands on experiences with unit test automation frameworks.
23. Able to help junior team members and guide them towards success.
24. Willingness to learn other languages as required.
25. Familiarity with AWS is a bonus.
26. Hands on experience with Microservices Architecture.
27. Participate and contribute to project/product development meetings.

Nice to have Skills:

• Integrate AI-powered tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Gemini Agent) into daily development workflows.
• Utilize AI tools for code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation enhancements.
• Participate in evaluating and adopting emerging AI technologies to improve development productivity and software quality.
• Collaborate with AI tools to identify opportunities for code optimization and refactoring.

Education

• Bachelor’s (BE, BTech) or master’s degree (MCA, MTech, MSc, Msc (IT))
