Responsibilities • Plan and execute mailbox and data migration activities, including pilot users, migration waves, and cutover. • Configure and troubleshoot migration tooling, permissions, authentication, and connectivity. • Investigate failed jobs, document root causes, and coordinate retries or remediation. • Validate destination-tenant configuration, including mail flow and transport rules. • Maintain migration trackers, technical runbooks, and clear records of changes and outcomes. • Raise blockers promptly, work directly with client and project stakeholders, and provide concise progress updates. • Support post-migration validation and resolve issues identified by users or the project team. Required Experience • Hands-on experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations. • Strong knowledge of Exchange Online, mail flow, identity, permissions, and Microsoft Graph. • Experience with migration tools such as Quest and with PowerShell-based troubleshooting. • Proven ability to diagnose migration failures and manage cutovers in a live enterprise environment. • Clear written communication and disciplined documentation. Nice to Have Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance configuration, including Microsoft Purview.
