Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAPEWM implementation and productionsupport. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing and resolving production incidents and service requests, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the smooth functioning of warehouse operations and related business processes.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP EWM production incidents and service requests within defined SLA timelines.
Provide functional support for core warehouse processes, including inbound and outbound delivery processing, Goods Receipt (GR), putaway, picking, packing, shipping, physical inventory, replenishment, and Value-Added Services (VAS).
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent corrective and preventive solutions.
Monitor and support day-to-day warehouse operations to minimize business disruptions and ensure operational continuity.
Investigate issues related to warehouse tasks and orders, stock discrepancies, delivery processing, and warehouse process execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams, including MM, SD, and other integrated systems, to resolve end-to-end process issues.
Support incident prioritization, service request fulfillment, defect resolution, and change management activities in accordance with established support processes.
Coordinate with business users to understand issues, validate solutions, and provide timely updates on incident resolution.
Prepare and maintain functional documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting procedures to improve support efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and proactively reduce recurring incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

4–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM, preferably in a production support or AMS environment.
Strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM warehouse management processes, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, replenishment, and VAS.
Experience in incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and service request resolution.
Understanding of SAP EWM integration with SAP MM and SD.
Ability to analyze complex functional issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Experience working with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira is preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production support environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting SAP EWM integrated with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.
Familiarity with warehouse monitoring, stock reconciliation, and interface-related issue resolution.
Exposure to SAP EWM configuration, testing, and transport management.
Experience in SLA-driven support environments with a focus on incident prevention and continuous improvement.
