Job Highlights
- Analyse business requirements, technical specifications, and architecture documents to define comprehensive test strategies.
- Design and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for functional and non-functional testing.
- Lead end-to-end testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, system, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts and reusable automation frameworks.
Job Description
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured and validate backend integrations.
- Execute database validation using SQL and ensure data integrity.
- Review test cases and automation scripts prepared by team members to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Identify, prioritise, and manage defects through to resolution while working closely with development teams.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prepare and present test execution reports, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in testing methodologies, automation, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvements in QA processes, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.
- Support production validation, defect triage, and root cause analysis for production issues.
- Evaluate and recommend new QA tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve quality engineering practices.

Education Qualificaiton
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MCA, or related field required.
