15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Marktine Technologies/Vriti reserves the right to update, change or modify the privacy policy at any time, and the changes will take effect from the date of publication. Before using data from a connected Google, Microsoft or JioMeet account in a new way, we will tell the recruiter and ask for their consent.

16. Interview Scheduling with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and JioMeet

A recruiter can connect their own Google, Microsoft (work or school) or JioMeet account to the Vriti Scheduler, so that Vriti creates the meeting link for each interview they schedule. Connecting is optional and is done on the platform's own consent screen. This section applies to the data Vriti receives from these accounts and, where it differs from the other sections of this policy, it is the one that applies.

Data we access

  • Google (permissions: openid, email, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events): we create a Google Calendar event with a Google Meet link on the recruiter's calendar for each interview they schedule in Vriti, with the interview participants as attendees, and we update or delete that event when the interview is rescheduled or cancelled. We read the account's email address only to show which account is connected. We do not read or change any other event, or any other Google data.
  • Microsoft Teams (permissions: openid, email, profile, offline_access, OnlineMeetings.ReadWrite): we create, update and delete the Teams meeting for each interview, and read the account's name and email address only to show which account is connected. We do not access the recruiter's email, calendar, files, chats or contacts.
  • JioMeet (permissions: user:read, meeting:create, meeting:read, meeting:update, meeting:delete): we create, update and cancel the JioMeet meeting for each interview, and read the account's email address only to show which account is connected.

How we use it

We use this data only to create, update and cancel the meetings for the interviews the recruiter schedules in Vriti, and to show which account is connected. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, we do not use it to determine creditworthiness, and we do not use it, or anything derived from it, to develop, improve or train any artificial intelligence or machine learning model.

Storage and protection

We store the access and refresh tokens issued by the platform, encrypted, together with the connected account's email address, and for each meeting its meeting ID, join link, host link and passcode. We do not store the content of the recruiter's calendar or meetings. Data is encrypted in transit and access to it is restricted to authorised staff.

Sharing

We do not share or transfer this data to anyone, except to the platform the recruiter connected (to create the meeting), when needed for security or to investigate abuse, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with the recruiter's prior consent. Our staff do not read this data unless the recruiter asks us to for support, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.

Retention, deletion and revoking access

A recruiter can disconnect an account at any time from the Schedule Interview screen; this deletes its stored tokens straight away. Meeting records are deleted on request to support@vriti.ai, and the tokens and meeting records are deleted when the recruiter's Vriti account is deleted (section 11). Meetings that were already created stay on the platform and can be deleted there. Access can also be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (Google), myapps.microsoft.com (Microsoft) or in the JioMeet account settings.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Vriti's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data received from Google Workspace APIs, including Google Calendar, is not used to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI and/or ML models.
